If you were watching the VMAs last night, you will understand why Jennifer Lopez is our terrific woman this Tuesday!

Last night, Jennifer was awarded the Vanguard Award and was the first Latina artist to accomplish that! The Vanguard Award recognizes artists who not only have a legacy in the music industry but who also give back to their community.

Jennifer Lopez is the perfect recipient for this award being that she is always giving back. Most recently, she helped raise relief funds for Peurto Rico after hurricane Maria. She, alongside Marc Anthony and Alex Rodriguez, raised more than $35 million for Puerto Rico to help them recover. That’s incredible!

Jennifer also gave an incredible performance last night, singing some of her biggest hits including, “Jenny From the Block” and “I’m Real (Remix).” She truly did deserve the Vanguard Award!
